The rock n’ roll style has always been the epitome of cool but it has never been the easiest style to pull off.  Let’s face it, not everyone can rock tight leather pants and tattoos.  Since the rock n’ roll style has become so popular, there are many new and easy ways to look rock n’ roll chic, without going all out.  Here is a list of the top five ways to make your outfit rock n’ roll chic:

1. Rock n’ roll prints- Rock stars are always able to pull off wild prints in their outfits.  While you may not want to call a great deal of attention to yourself in a neon pink zebra print dress, more subtle prints can turn your style rock n’ roll.  An easy way is to wear an animal print in neutral colors, such as a beige and black leopard print.  Another way to make rock n’ roll prints less loud is to wear them in small amounts, like on accessories.  An Alexander McQueen skull scarf is an easy way to add some rock n’ roll chic to a basic outfit.
2. Leather- When one thinks of rock n’ roll style, the first thing that comes to mind is leather!  Rock stars wear anything in leather from leather pants to shoes to dresses.  Leather is a great look for anyone, but it can be somewhat flashy if you wear leather like a rock star.  If you want to wear leather in a more casual way, you can add one leather piece to your outfit.  For example, a leather racerback vest over a t-shirt and jeans is a simple way to add rock n’ roll flair to your style.
3. Studs- Studs are a more recent rock n’ roll trend that can add that tough rocker flair to any outfit.  Studs can range from super spiky to flat and round.  Generally, studs are best kept to accessories or shoes.  One of my favorite ways to wear studs is on black stilettos!
4. Concert Tees- Concert tees have always been a cool way to show everyone your exceptional taste in music.  Concert tees have become such a huge fashion trend lately that now you can buy them without ever going to a concert.  By wearing a rock n’ roll concert tee you can show everyone that not only do you know your rock music, but you know rock n’ roll fashion as well!
5. Fedora- After a long night of partying, rock stars throw on a hat and sunglasses to hide from the paparazzi and they still look cool!  The latest headwear choice of rock stars has been the fedora.  This 1920’s accessory has become popular for both men and women today.  For a more rock n’ roll feel, choose a black fedora hat.
