I have been a fan of the Asics Gel-Kayano for years, these are the best shoes yet.I am a heavy bloke (90 kilos) and run at least 60 Kilometers a week on Asphalt and concrete. As such I need a shoe with excellent cushioning and this shoe has heaps of it. I fell in love the moment I slipped into it. The asymmetrical lacing seems to work for me as the shoe fits perfectly.

Got these as a present and was told that these are the best running shoes. My nephew runs every day for about an hour on paved sidewalks of NYC. I bought different ASICS pair for him last year. He liked previous pair but the new pair is "way better". He does not want to take them off. Previous pair lasted a year so quality should not be a problem. I gave it 5 stars per his review.

Love the shoes, very comfortable, much better than my old pair which had run flat. The laces are off-set slightly off center, which makes this shoe much more comfortable. I get a lot of energy return from these shoes. Arrived on time, no worries, and no distress to the packaging. Live overseas and using the APO system but still arrived in a very timely manner.
