I'm sorry but is it at all possible for ANYONE -- I don't know... like the "Asics company", to maybe place a freaking size chart explanation of whatever the f$@# "11 D(M) US" this means? Is this REALLY necessary? What, is just "Size 11" not good enough? or Size 11 a, b, c, (for foot width size) which is how they USED to do it, before everything was made in China?11 B(N) US, 11 D(M) US, 11 2E US,11 4E US what the hell is THIS supposed to mean? And why do I have to look it up on 5 different website? Not Asics website -- of course not. No. Wikipedia and Yahoo Answer. It's bad enough having to buy shoes for someone else, because of an accident, must this really take 40 minutes picking out a pair of sneakers? I've already gone through all the trouble of seeing a special medical doctor and having him point out Asics as being "quality", but they can't even be bothered to place a NORMAL shoe sizing chart, or even an explanation of theirs? Come on, for the amount of money they want for "sneakers" the LEASE Asics could do is make a size chart or something. If you're trying to have "cleaver" marketing to explain-away these ridiculous prices, you could make this processes less time consuming and tedious.

I have been using ASICS running shoes for over 10 years now and they continue to provide excellent, well priced shoes. Very good support and my feet do not feel fatigued or sore when I use them. I run about 32 kms (20 miles) per week so not much but ASICS has proven to be a reliable and well thought out shoes. I tried another brand once and had sore ankles for weeks, that was the last time I strayed. I would not hesitate to buy ASICS runnings shoes.
