With summer coming in full swing, I decided to indulge in getting a summer jacket. I wanted something that was cool and suave at the same time. This is when I realized that picking the perfect jacket wasn’t as easy as I thought it was. You want to look good, make it fit right and be neutral enough such that it matches with your wardrobe. In addition the two key aspects are that each of us wants is a combination of fashion and function too.
After a lot of looking around I found two jackets that I was totally confused between. One of them was the Lee canvas jacket. It might be a bit late to look for canvas jackets, however this summer I decided to get a canvas jacket which I have been wanting for a while now!
The canvas jacket from Lee was so smart, and it was 100 percent cotton. Thus the thin fabric made it absolutely breathable and comfortable. This jacket was designed to make it fade which made it even more attractive to me. In fact this light weight jacket is so easy to carry everywhere when I travel too.
The second jacket was a canvas jacket motorcycle that stole my heart. The rugged style made it wearable at night with the guys combined with a shirt. Did you know you could combine it with a dress shirt and it looks fantastic as well? I actually imagined myself walking outside my office with this jacket on me. The jacket is sure to block the cool breezes if any and the articulated sleeves will not be a hindrance to your movement as well.
While I was amidst my confusion on these jackets, I also looked at other styles. You could opt for a summer jacket which is yarn dyed or a lightweight cotton jacket too? The options are several… go and make your pick!
