We bought this for my daughter's trip with us to the galapagos. We thought it would be a great beach/water shoe. It was comfortable from what we could tell and you didn't have to worry about bumping her toes. The big problem was that things would get into the shoes (like with all sandals), however, with the design of the sandals, the pebbles/sand/ small twigs would not come out as with normal sandals or tevas. So we constantly had to stop for her and take off her shoes and remove things. She never had these issues with her tevas. We had another friend who bought these for her girls and had the same exact issues. They would be great for smooth surfaces.

Adorable, versatile and comfortable. We love the shoes and the delivery was so fast and efficient. We were warned that they would start to 'smell' but this has not been the case. The only downer is that she loves to unstrap the velcro and take them off, but that is a hazard with any velcro shoe. I will continue to buy them as her feet grow. They are a perfect warm weather shoe.

Keen's Newport H2s are excellent toddler shoes. Even at $45 they are worth the money. We plan on using one pair all season, and into fall. Two things to consider: they seem to run a tad big; and this year's model is more difficult to put on than last year's model. The Pinecone color is fab!
