I have worn a pair of Red patent leather Dansko Marcelle for three years. I have loved them so much that I really did build a part of my wardrobe around them. I also have about 10 pairs of Danskos in my closet. Before I bought my first pair in 2000, I had been plagued with leg problems my whole life (flat feet, shin splints, plantar fasciitis) and was thrilled to find shoes that I could walk in (not to mention add a little height).I was so excited when the black patent ones were introduced.However, the last has changed on this shoe and it is at least a quarter of an inch shorter than my originals. Just enough to make them too small. I was very disappointed. One size larger is just a bit too big. What happened to JUST RIGHT?
