The sole of this shoe is very comfortable (as all ECCOs)/ I bought them for casual day at work thinking they'll be great in the summer (I didn't buy them for walking!). I still have blisters from the first day I've worn them. The solution is: there is a tape out there (sold in the pharmacy and other places the shoe soles are sold) that you cut a piece of and stick it to the inside of the strap. That helped a lot! Now I wear them OK. I understand they need breaking into but who wants to suffer for 7 days and be left with blisters for months (mine are still there making my feet look very bad for about a month). I would expect better from ECCO.

When I bought these shoes I thought they would be the most comfortable thing.... but I worn them last night and got 5 blisters... along where the front strap touches my feet. I was so disappointed... They would be a very comfprtable pair of shoes, if wasn't for the very painful straps, so rough on the edges.
