So you’ve been using your eco-friendly tote for designated “tote”-y things, such as carrying groceries, carrying books and other carrying actions. This is amazingly sufficient for the task of carrying items but you want to do more to show that you care about the earth. What can you do with this signifier of being green?
- Wear it on your head, cut out holes and be an eco-friendly superhero. To reuse your tote after cutting holes out, reserve it for large items that won’t slip through.
- Fill it with rocks. If carrying pepper spray isn’t enough to stave off your fear of walking home alone at night, an eco-friendly tote full of rocks can easily whack evildoers.
- Fill two eco-friendly totes with rocks and use them for a great arm workout.
- Use your eco-friendly tote to collect donations for charity. Then donate proceeds to charity.
- Use an eco-friendly tote to carry all your snowballs before you pelt your friends.
- Hide gifts for loved ones in one of these totes.
- Carry your food to work so that you have a great excuse not to go out to lunch for the fourth day in a row with your not-so-money-conscious coworkers.
- Fill it with candy and hold it open for trick-or-treaters to grab some delectable treats.
- Carry it to the market to use as a grocery bag instead of leaving it in your car.
- Fill it with trophies and hand the trophies out to strangers.
- Carry fresh fruits from your orange tree with it.
- Fill it with money and walk around with stunna shades.
- Turn it upside down and attempt to parachute, then fail.
These are just some ideas to make sure you’re using your tote at all. Don’t buy it with green intentions and let it go to waste!
