Invest in an embellished sweater this holiday season

The holiday season is almost here and I am sure most girls are standing in front of their wardrobe not knowing what to wear. There are plenty of parties to attend and you wouldn’t want to repeat your outfit. This holiday season I plan to invest in embellished sweaters that can be worn with skirts and tights or with dark wash jeans. By mixing and matching this embellished sweater you are not only creating new outfits but also doing so with a small budget.

The key to wearing embellished sweaters is keeping your skirt or jeans and your accessories simple and clean. Also, you should choose colors that flatter your skin tone, so that the sequin in your embellished sweater compliments rather than clash with your skin color. If the sweater has front buttons, you can wear a neutral colored tank top beneath it in order to keep the focus solely on the sweater. Finally, you can team the outfit with a pair of black high heel shoes and a clutch in hand. This outfit is great for office parties or for a dinner with family.

If you are not a big fan of embellished sweaters then I would recommend checking out embroidered cardigan sweater. It looks sophisticated and elegant with delicate embroidery on it. It is far more subtle than the embellished sweaters but it still stands out in a crowd. You can pair these sweaters with an A-line skirt or a dark wash jean. You can also accessorize your outfit with a bunch of bracelets and chandelier earrings. Finally, you can wear your long leather boots or black pumps to complete the outfit.
