Gingham Shirt

Glee is one of the best shows on right now and Kurt Hummel’s style is my favorite of the characters in this series. He’s the main reason I watch this musical comedy drama. I love his sharp wit, fashion sense, singing voice, and cute smile. Apparently, the writers of the show created Kurt Hummel after Chris Colfer auditioned for a different role. Kurt, who’s a great fan of American fashion designer Marc Jacobs, wears some of the most fashionable and unique outfits on the show. Here are some pieces to his outfits which look great on Kurt Hummel:

Gingham shirt

Kurt is mostly dressed in business casual outfits throughout the series. In one episode, he wears a red Ben Sherman gingham shirt and tan coat. Available in classic designs and colors, gingham shirts are perfect to wear for any occasion. Also, these shirts are very comfortable and easy to clean. Go for light colors like blue, if you want to stand out in your stylish new shirt. Or find a gingham shirt in dark colors for a more classic look, and pair that with a colorful jacket or scarf. Gingham shirts look good both with jeans and dress pants, so these shirts can be used as casual or semi-formal wear.

Alexander McQueen scarf

The designer clothes worn by Kurt on the show are just outstanding. His distinctive clothing style is a big part of his character. One distinct thing about his outfits is that he’ll occasionally wear an interesting scarf. I literally fell in love with the Alexander McQueen scarf he wore – it added a colorful splash to the otherwise gray outfit he’d been wearing. Plus, leave it to Kurt to daringly wear a scarf that is usually advertised as women’s clothing. In a different episode, he wore another iconic Alexander McQueen piece of clothing that was the painted hands sweater.

Black trench coat

In another episode, Kurt wears a Topman black textured trench coat. This beautiful black trench coat with knee length design made him look extremely stylish. Don’t like it in black? Don’t let that stop you from adopting Kurt Hummel’s style! He’s worn similar coats in other colors, like the tan trench coat he wore over his gingham shirt. I personally prefer wearing a black trench coat with light wash jeans and black boots.
