I've had the ATQ carryon "wheeled backpack" for about a year now and it's worked really well for me so when I needed a new checked bag I decided to go with this duffle. It comes in at just under 12 lbs which is still reasonable for a 32" duffle. High Sierra bags are well thought out and once you start packing you find that there is more space then you thought. They're worth the price and are durable and easy to maneuver through airports, down streets, etc.

After three days in Italy the wheels malfunctioned causing the bag to drag on the ground and tearing holes in the end. I had to purchase a luggage dolly to roll it around on for the remainder of the trip. Wheels are connected to the bag by only two screws causing them to be very flimsy and weak. The pull out handle only locked in the out position 5% of the time. The bag weighed only 43 pounds at the time and has no signs of airline mistreatment. If you are looking for a bag you plan to roll around this is not the one for you.
