Got this bag for my son who just graduated from college!! He loves the bag. It is sturdy and straps are real sturdy!! The leather is soft. The buckles are a lil hard to open and close but I think will get easier as it breaks in. It has laid back professional look and is definitely masculine- perfect for someone graduating with BS in psychology.

I've been using my college messenger bag as my work bag for the past 10 years. I figured it was about time for me to step it up. I wasn't looking to spend excessively for a run of the mill Tumi or pricier luxury brand, so this really fit the need. Overall, this Kenneth Cole Reaction briefcase has been great! It provides all the necessary compartments and pockets (essential laptop compartment) and retains a classic styling with a modern twist. As stated in the title, it has been better than expected. Hopefully, I won't have to buy another bag for another 10 years.
