These boots due emphasize stealth. They are silent when walking on solid surfaces. The tread provides ample traction. I was just in a large snowstorm. When walking in and out of buildings with tiles that were slick with slush and water I encountered no problems. They are very breathable as well. The build is high quality and sturdy. The all plastic composite make-up is a nice touch as well. The safety toe is solid. The V cut in the top back allow good natural foot movement while maintaining good ankle support Durable build, light weight, silent. (side note: because these ship from the manufacturer, before buying, expect a few extra days of shipping time, mine took about a week and a half)
