This is my second pair of Merrell Encore Chill Stitch. Last winter I wore the smooth black leather and rarely anything else and they look barely worn. I bought the Raisin in 8M this week and love it. The Raisin is a maroon or burgundy dark red. I don't know how many pairs of Merrells I own but I haven't bought another brand in three years. I wore the Merrell Genoa (two pairs) Sandals all summer and am now looking forward to another warm and toasty winter with my newest Encore Chill Stitch with and/or without socks. Perfect fit and with the lip on the back to hold the shoe on your foot, you can actually run in this shoe. I also wear the Barrado (three pairs) a lot. If you want comfort, this is it.

I wear these fall, winter and early spring. They a far too warm for summer. These clogs are so supportive and comfortable that I even wear them on the treadmill...they are more comfortable than my athletic shoes. When I found them for $39 I decided to purchase two pairs because the usual price is $99.
