Because of my back problems, I wanted to buy a pair of Merrell's. I heard that they provide lots of support and are very comfortable. While I really like the way these shoes look, the slight heel on them makes my back ache after wearing them for a few hours. If you're looking for something super comfortable, you may want to choose one of Merrell's flat options instead.

This is a great shoe....cute with jeans or dress slacks or dress...very versatile.....fits true to size....don't order up or down.....very comfortable shoe also....and there was never a "breaking in" period...I just took it out of the box, and wore them....

Women's Merrell Plaza BandeauThis shoe is very comfortable, and well made. I loved how the shoes fit. I wore these shoes with dressy slacks and they looked fine. I love how they felt, it was almost as if I did not have on a high heel shoe, of course it was a low heel. I am used to wearing flat shoes, but I loved the height on these shoes.
