Snatched these up for Spring 2009...As a "vertically challenged" (5'4") guy married to a 5'6" giant (HA!), I look for good quality heels that will keep my in range of my wife when she wears heels... I saw these and grabbed them for a "Spring 2009" shoe... I like the 4" wedge heel and it disappears under jeans while being stable. These feel a little narrower across the toe than a typical Nine West shoe, but the leather is good quality and stretched easily...The wedge heel makes these a little stiff, but not too bad. They are VERY easy to walk in for the heel height, but start off very noisy due to the hard plastic heel tap. I will have these replaced with a rubber tab eventually. If you have a lighter step, these won't be a problem, but for a guy trying to grow a few inches, I like to avoid the clacking noise....I see myself spending a lot of time on the weekends this spring in these. After fine-tuning the toe strap, they feel wonderful. They really look great with jeans! I wore these to a concert and had to park about 5 blocks from the door. I was worried about blisters, pain etc. but there was no problem. My wife had more of an issue in her "broken in" heels than I did...Get the Dark natural... great golden brown color...If you need or like heels for whatever reason, you will be quite happy with these.Quality is great, what you would expect from Nine West.
