On New Zealand's North Island, the getaway place is called a "bach" (for bachelor) and on the South Island, a "crib." Whether it's alongside a lake or sitting on the beach, the crib often has an overturned canoe outside, nicely worn furniture within, and a good supply of well-thumbed books. It feels more like home than home. An afternoon lazing on the porch inspired this easy-wearing leather jacket, of medium weight, in an exceptionally supple, richly textured lambskin. It has a feminine fit, with a pleasing shoulder yoke, a shaped waist, and a hemline that falls high on the hip. The detailing is appropriately unfussy, with a topstitched convertible collar; on-seam welted pockets; antiqued-brass zipper; and satin acetate lining. Professional leather clean. Imported in Brown.
