I had a previous version of these sandals and loved them. I like these even more because of the options for the strap, wearing it 3 different ways, and the buckle is plastic, not metal and therfore won't get corroded in saltwater. They are extremely durable, I am still keeping my last pair as a backup. I wear these almost exclusively while sailing, walking, and going out.

I was SO excited to see this flip flop in Teva's line up. I was looking for a functional flip flop and the Ultimate Thong seemed to be just what I was looking for. Anxiously awaited the arrival and tore open the box... and was greeted by this TERRIBLE, sharp odor reminiscent of burnt plastic. Tried them on despite the smell and was quite underwhelmed. Shoes look to run about a half-size LARGER than marked so I'd suggest trying a half-size down. Comfort was so-so; I mean, it's a flip flop so I'm not expecting miracles. The fixed strap seems a bit snug on the foot but that is often the case for me. The adjustable strap is a nice idea and one that I would have liked to try, had I opted to keep the shoe. I much prefer the fit of the Chaco Flip or the Keen Antigua.
