I bought two of these for my 9 and 13 year old. I was happy to see that the XL in girls fit me, usually a Small in adult sizes. They are not that stiff, sticky plastic type of raincoats, but very light, flexible and breathable. I was able to try them on before ordering them online and I would say they run true to size. The hood can be rolled up and tucked in the collar of the jacket. The pockets have zippers on them. Overall , it just looks and feels like a quality jacket. I wouldn't have bought them at the regular, full price, so I feel pretty good about the purchase since it was almost half price. The bonus is that I can wear it too. My daughter even wore it during a soccer practice when it was raining and said it worked great.
