I am over 220lbs and have some foot issues. I wear a 14 narrow which you never find, and if I go into a wide shoe the sliding and looseness plays havoc on my arches. I put these boots on (14N) and it was like they were made for me, "where you been all my life", I said. I wore them twice and then for a 3 hr hike in Yosemite and all was amazing and perfect. I am going for a 3 day backpacking trip in a few days and then a week next month as well as doing Half Dome; I have complete confidence I made the best choice for me.
